We now have an AOL Instant Messenger account through which you can contact miniViewSF to chat. If you don’t have an AOL Instant Messenger account, you can register one for free here.
Once you are registered, you can sign in to your account using AOL’s own software, but my favorite instant messaging software is iChat. iChat is Apple’s IM software, and comes with all OS X computers that have Jaguar or above (more info). Another great piece of software is Adium X. It allows you to connect to many different IM services, and lets you log in to multiple accounts at once (more info). Even better, try Metal Adium, essentially the same as the original, but with a look optimized for the Mac (more info).
To contact me, create a new chat by going to “New Chat with Person…” in iChat or “New Chat…” in Adium X (both accessible from the File menu). Then, type in my username:

For an easier way to message me, scroll down in the sidebar to your right until you see the Contact area. Now look under the ‘AIM:’ field. If the status bubble is green, I’m online. If it’s red, I’m offline. So, if in fact the bubble is green, you can click on that link to chat with me.
Finally, to join a group chat with the listeners of the show and possibly me, just go to your chat application and join a chat. When the dialog box comes up, just enter the name:
